SBC Ostara, March 15, 2019

What better way to get in touch with the power your inner child holds
than to rejoice in it by attending an Ostara ritual with kids? Reconnect
with your sacred youth as you interact with the story of how Ostara
changed a frozen, dying bird into the legendary Ostara/Easter bunny.

South Bay Circles is proud to present South Bay Pagan Kids in our 2019
Ostara ritual. Help usher in the Spring and find out from where the
Easter/Ostara bunny comes. Fill your heart and soul with the child-like
joy of the maiden.

Feel free to bring your drums, rhythm sticks, and other percussion
instruments but, please no pitched instruments like bells as they
probably won’t match the music key and might clash.

Saturday, March 16th. We’ll gather at 5 pm in the Odd Fellows Lodge in
Cupertino and have the ritual at 5:30 pm. 20589 Homestead Rd, Cupertino,
CA 95014

Please bring a dish to share for the potluck and a suggested donation of
$10-20 (no one will ever be turned away for lack of funds).

Guidelines for Potluck:

Please bring food that is ready to serve. There will not be anyone there
to cut up a whole chicken or slice a loaf of bread. Assume you will not
have access to a refrigerator or stove on site.

Please mark your platter/bowls/serving utensils and remember to take
them with you when you leave. If there is leftover food, please take it
with you.

If possible, please label your food so those with food restrictions will
know what’s in it.

Bring something you like and will want, that way you are guaranteed to
like something.

Most of our potlucks are meals (unless the invite says otherwise) so
main dishes, salads, side dishes, desserts, non-alcoholic beverages to
share are all welcome.

Ritual Etiquette:

Be polite, friendly, and considerate of others.

Use common sense.

Ask the owner before touching items (drums, altar item, jewelry etc.)

Stop chatting and turn off your phone when the ritual is about to start.

Rituals are participatory, so please join in when asked.

A cast circle is a sacred space so don’t be disruptive.

Assist in the post-event clean-up – please take care of your own

Be discreet if you run into people elsewhere, not all Pagans are public
about it.

The requested donations are used to pay for our insurance and site
rental fees. No one will be turned away for lack of funds, but these
contributions are essential to our continued existence.
